Welcome to the home of The Temesvikings, a group within The Vikings¹, a society specialising in Celtic, Norman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking re-enactment. Temesvik is a local group mainly covering the London area (Temes being an old spelling of Thames).
The Temesvikings re-enact military and domestic life of the 10th and early 11th centuries. Our members represent some of the Anglo-Danish and Anglo-Saxon natives and settlers who might have been found in the London area some 1000 years ago.
We can be booked (subject to availability) for shows, fairs and fetes, etc. Members of the society also do educational work, including school visits related to Key Stage 2.
